How to Find Your Ring Size
Finding the correct ring size is essential for comfort and a perfect fit. Follow either of the methods below carefully. If done correctly, both methods are accurate.
Method 1: Using a String or Paper Strip
This is the most reliable method if you don’t already own a ring.
-
Cut a thin strip of paper or use a non-stretchable string.
-
Wrap it snugly around the finger where you plan to wear the ring.
-
Do not pull too tight or leave it loose.
-
-
Mark the point where the ends meet.
-
Measure the length (in millimeters) using a ruler.
-
Match the measured length with the Indian Ring Size Chart shown above.
Tip: Measure your finger at room temperature. Cold or hot fingers can affect size.
Method 2: Using an Existing Ring
Use this method only if the ring fits you perfectly.
-
Place the ring on a flat surface.
-
Measure the inner diameter of the ring (straight across the center).
-
Match the diameter measurement with the size chart provided.
Important: Do not measure the outer edge of the ring. Only the inner diameter gives the correct size.
Things to Keep in Mind
-
Measure your finger at the end of the day for best accuracy.
-
Finger sizes can differ between hands—measure the exact finger you’re buying for.
-
If your measurement falls between two sizes, always choose the larger size.
-
Wider rings may feel tighter—consider going half a size up if available.
Still Unsure?
